Dr. Helen Emmanuel is a certified librarian who has worked at the University of Abuja Library and the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Education, University of Abuja. In addition to research and academic roles in the university, she served as the Acting Head of Department, Library and Information Science, and the Departmental Examination Officer at the University of Abuja.
Her educational training was graced with excellence at all levels. She passed her West African School Certificate with good grades in all subjects and graduated from Ahmadu Bello University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information (BLIS), Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration, and a Master of Information Management (MIM). Also, she has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Library and Information Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Dr. Helen’s research interest is in Information Management, especially Agricultural and Health Information for Rural Dwellers. She has published 17 academic papers in high-impact local and international journals and has contributed to 3 chapters of books. Her research articles have been cited 18 times and have an h-index of 1 and an i-10 index of 1.
She is serving God happily and living an impactful life in all her endeavours.
