ATTAH Timothy Ojotu, born in Ugwolawo, Ofu LGA of Kogi State is an astute Administrator and Manager per excellence of almost two decades, who has worked in multifaceted organizations including Technology, NGOs, Printing Press, Education Sector (University and College). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language, an MBA in Organizational Leadership as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration.

He was the Personal/Administrative Assistant at SICC, where he was responsible for managing the itinerary of the President/Founder and other administrative roles and later on rose to the position of the Administrative Manager where he managed the office and supervised other members of staff.

He was also the Administrative Manager at Potters’ Touch Limited where he was responsible for the day to day administrative functions of the company as well as supervising the members of staff.

Timothy moved to Salem Pastoral & Management College as the College Administrator and was responsible to the Rector for the day to day administration of the College. He served in that capacity for both Lagos and Abuja campuses until joining the services of Salem University Lokoja.

He joined the services of Salem University Lokoja as a Deputy Registrar in charge of Administration, Establishment and Council Affairs, where he had the herculean task of manning the council secretariat and coordinating all the activities of the Governing Council in various council committees and sub-committees. He also supervised the Establishment unit of the registry where he led the staff of the unit in handling staff related matters as well as assisting the Registrar for general administration.

At Salem University, he worked in various capacities and rose through the ranks and was appointed the University Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council. By virtue of this appointment, he also served as Secretary to the Senate, Secretary to Congregation as well as Convocation. He was the Chief Administrative Officer responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day to day administration of the University.

He chaired at various times the NUC Resource Verification & Accreditation Staff sub-committee during the resource verification and accreditation exercises respectively. He was a member of both Staff and Students’ Disciplinary Committees (SDCs). Having worked with two Vice Chancellors and served more than a full tenure as substantive Registrar of Salem University, he moved to take up another responsibility in a tech-driven establishment.

He assumed the position of Administration/Programme Coordinator at Elrae Technologies Limited (a Technology driven company) and later joined the services of Systems and Gaming Network Nigeria Limited as Head of Human Resources and Administration where he helped in setting up the HR and Administration department amongst other responsibilities for the company. He served in this capacity until his appointment as the Registrar of Margaret Lawrence University, Galilee, Delta State.

He is a member of relevant professional bodies and highly proficient with the use of MS Office Suite. He has continued to develop capacity by attending Seminars, Workshops and Trainings, both online and on-site to keep him current and relevant in the profession of Administration.

Timothy loves reading, playing and watching soccer. He is happily married to an elegant lady with their union blessed with three children, and they are based in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Nigeria.
