Ugochi Oyari is a lawyer and seasoned administrator who was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. Since then, she has served in various administrative capacities at the University of Abuja, beginning as an administrative officer in 2007, and rising through the ranks to the level of a Principal Assistant Registrar in 2017. Between these ranks, she served in numerous offices such as Pioneer College Secretary for the College of Health Sciences at the University of Abuja. Additionally, as a lawyer administrator, she helped in the development of the legal and administrative framework for the take-off of the newly established College of Health Sciences of the University ofAbuja, and served as a faculty officer for the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Social Sciences, and a legal officer in the Legal Unit. She was also the Unit Head of the Staff Development Unit of the University and also served as an administrative officer in the Academic Division. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and a member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA). With her appointment in February 2023 as an Acting Registrar for the prestigious Margaret Lawrence University, she desires to contribute to laying a sound and solid foundation for a world-class university with a conducive teaching and learning environment for both staff and students. Her vision is to work with integrity, honesty, commitment,and dedication. She aims to create a supportive environment and ensure a well-motivated workforce to increase efficiency and productivity in whatever institution or organization she finds herself in.
