DURATION: 5 YEARS

Overview

This programme aims to make you an expert in spatial information. You will acquire skills in the precise surveying of buildings and objects as well as software and app development, usage of databases and computer-aided construction of maps and plans. You will explore courses such as Computer Application Surveying, Geographic Information System (GIS), Mining and Special Survey, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Hydrographic Surveying, Cadastral Surveying, and many more.

Entry  Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 5 O’level credits, including English, in no more than 2 sittings.

  • O’Level subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, and two other subjects selected from Geography, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, and Economics

  • UTME subjects: English, Physics, Mathematics or Geography, and any relevant subject

Career Prospects

You may work as a GIS technician, Environmental technician, CAD drafter, GIS analyst, Land Surveyor, Geologist, Urban planner, Cartographer, Geographer, GIS developer, etc.
