The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delta State, Agbor, Professor Stella C. Chiemeke, has expressed her willingness to collaborate with Margaret Lawrence University (MLU). She made this known during a courtesy visit by the MLU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ernest B. Izevbigie, and his team, comprising the Registrar, Mr. Attah Timothy, and the Acting Director of Academic Planning, Dr Emmanuel Uniamikogbo, on Wednesday, May 23, 2024.

Prof. Izevbigie, who was appointed the substantive Vice-Chancellor of MLU on March 1, 2024, stated that the visit was part of his familiarization tour of neighbouringinstitutions to promote goodwill and discuss potential areas of collaboration. He congratulated Prof. Chiemeke on her numerous achievements since assuming office as UNIDEL Vice-Chancellor three years ago.

Prof. Chiemeke thanked the MLU Management for the visit and promised to reciprocate in the near future. She lauded MLU’s achievements and contributions to society since its inception and declared her openness to collaboration.

The visit marks a significant step towards fostering a collaborative relationship between the two institutions, with potential benefits for students, faculty, and the wider academic community.
